Obfuscation and/or Indifference
The Salesperson thinks it’s unlikely we will get deliveries for the fall. We’ve looked at just how late we’d be willing to go, even into late October, but it’s highly unlikely.
The truly crappy thing about this is that we are not at the top of the list. Having given up our June dates, apparently we have gone back into the queue and there are people ahead of us now who will get deliveries before we do.
That was NOT clear to us when we gave up our slots. Grrrrr.
Ultimately it wouldn't have made a difference as we couldn’t have gone now because of COVID, but The Salesperson certainly hasn’t been very open with us. Feels like pulling teeth to get information from him and we don’t know if it’s because he doesn’t know anything, or if we are just small fry, or whatever. Certainly the allocation clarity, he doesn’t seem to have.
Frustrating to say the least.
Good thing Andrew remains calm in our conversations, and we have a good system of noting our questions for The Salesperson for next time we contact him.
